Attitude of Gratitude

"Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life.  It turns what we have into enough, and more.  It turns denial into acceptance, chaos to order, confusion to clarity.  It can turn a meal into a feast, a house into a home, a stranger into a friend. Gratitude makes sense of our past, brings peace for today, and creates a vision for tomorrow."
                                                                                         - Melody Beattie.

Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday. While I work hard to practice an attitude of gratitude throughout the year. During the fall and Thanksgiving in particular, I take special note to slow down, before things wind up for Christmas, and focus on the blessings before me.

For you see, when we are willing to look at life as a blessing and filled with gratitude, then a wonderful transformation occurs. Life becomes easier, more pleasant, a gift to be cherished. Life, like everything else, is a matter of perspective and how we choose to live it is entirely up to us.

May you always be willing to live with an attitude of gratitude.
